CHANGES TO PRESCRIPTION ORDERING FEBRUARY 2020
From 1st February 2020, the pharmacy will no longer be able to order your medications for you.
All prescription requests will need to be requested directly from the patient.
These can only be obtained by written request, in person, by post, email: email@example.com, or using SystmOnline (see details below).
Please be aware the Practice requires a minimum of two full working days to process repeat prescriptions, this also applies from when it is received from a pharmacy. If you request an item not on repeat or your medications need reviewing, this may take longer than two full workings days.
PLEASE DO NOT request prescriptions by telephone. It can lead to errors and block the telephone for urgent calls.
Please click on the following link for the Practice Prescription Journey information sheet, which shows how medication requests are processed: Park Edge Practice Prescription Journey
Please note that you may be asked to have a medications review consultation with a doctor, nurse, practice pharmacist or Hub pharmacist during your course of treatment.
