Please note the practice will be open during the following times over the Easter period:

Friday 10th April - Open as normal - 8.00am to 6.30pm

Saturday 11th April - CLOSED

Sunday 12th April - CLOSED

Monday 13th April - Open as normal - 8.00am to 6.30pm


Monday - 8:00am to 6.30pm

Tuesday - 8:00am to 11:45am and re-opening at 1.15pm to 6.30pm

Wednesday - 8:00am to 6.30pm (Wednesday - Early morning surgery held between 7.00am - 8.00am - by appointment only)

Thursday - 8:00am to 6.30pm
Friday - 8:00am to 6.30pm
Saturday - CLOSED
Sunday - CLOSED

The doctors are also available at various clinics held weekly at the surgery.

In practical terms, however, holidays, training commitments, postgraduate education and other NHS activities may impinge on the doctors' actual consulting hours. Patients wishing to see a particular doctor should always request that doctor by name.


The Practice runs an early morning surgery for the GP's and Practice Nurses on Wednesdays between 7.00am - 8.00am (BY APPOINTMENT ONLY) for patients who cannot attend during normal clinic times due to work or other commitments.


There are also GP and Clinical Pharmacist appointments available at the Extended Access Hubs in Seacroft and Middleton, Monday to Friday 6.30pm to 8pm, Saturday 8am to 2pm and Sunday 8am to Midday. To book an appointment during the Extended Opening times please contact the practice.

NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS (Out-Of-Hours Service)

Please ring 295 4650 as usual but be prepared for a recorded message advising you of the name and number of the out-of-hours service, or to be diverted to the out-of-hours service.


The Shakespeare Walk-in Centre is part of the Burmantofts Health Centre, 1 Cromwell Mount, Leeds 9. It provides an alternative source of treatment and is open seven days a week between 8.00am and 8.00pm. Tel: (0113) 295 1132.


These are appropriate for non-A&E cases, but if you are unsure about suitability for treatment please telephone first.

  • St George's Centre on St George's Road in Middleton (LS10). Open 8.00am-10.30pm. Tel (0113) 392 9801.
  • Wharfedale General Hospital on Newell Carr Road in Otley (LS21). Open 8.00am-11.00pm. Tel: (0113) 392 1647.


The practice is closed from 12 noon until the following day on the following dates in conjunction with all East Leeds practices for staff training and development:
